Dr. Cornelia Chadi has been working as a research associate at the iff since February 2026. She is an economist and a social and economic statistician, and she earned her Ph.D. in labor market economics in 2019.

At the iff, Dr. Chadi investigates the determinants and effects of financial violence against women—a research and transfer project funded by the TARGOBANK Foundation. She is also involved in a project within the BMBF funding line “Research on Financial Education” as part of the nationwide “Financial Education” initiative (BMF and BMBF). Together with Dr. Sally Peters and Dr. Hanne Roggemann, she is also responsible for the annual Over-Indebtedness Report.

Ms. Chadi has been working on topics in applied econometrics since 2014, most recently as a research assistant at the Center for Research Methods at Zeppelin University in Friedrichshafen. There, she taught several courses in statistics and data analysis and published numerous empirical studies. Ms. Chadi continues to hold a teaching position at Zeppelin University Friedrichshafen.
