Dr. Hanne Roggemann
Dr. Hanne Roggemann completed her studies of economics and Slavic studies at the Georg-August University in Göttingen. In 2015, she received her doctorate in economics from the Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main. Her dissertation investigates the informal insurance strategies of rural households in Vietnam. She worked as an evaluator at the German Development Cooperation Evaluation Institute (DEval) for several years and has been a research assistant at the Institute for Financial Services ((iff e.V.) e.V.) since 2020. Methodologically, she has applied and combined quantitative and qualitative survey and analysis models. Her work focuses on the opportunities and risks of microfinance for the financially weak clientele, the role of the private sector in achieving sustainability goals and the issue of sustainable investment and responsible lending.
